This work is: Interesting, challenging, exciting, meaningful, rewarding. At times frustrating, demanding and stressful, this work is not for the faint of heart.
Work description: Working directly with adults who have a psychiatric, developmental or behavioral disorder, engaging them in living life to the fullest. Teach, coach, mentor, champion and befriend people who are struggling to live free and full lives. This means working side by side in all of life’s activities, from making a meal and cleaning up the kitchen to going to the mall to playing softball to rafting the Colorado River. Become the “bridge” our clients use to bridge the gap from where they are to a richer and fuller life.
Training: All training is paid and provided, both classroom and field training.
